TherapySupervisor

For clinicians in training and practice
Case

Before you start

TherapySupervisor is software for clinicians in training and practice who want a place to reflect on their psychotherapy work. You bring a situation or interaction you want to think about. The exchange is designed to help you hold on to more of what happened, put some shape around it, and develop your own thinking, including questions you may want to bring to supervision.

Include the clinical detail you feel is important, but leave out identifying information. First names and age ranges are fine ("Sarah, 30s"). Automated safeguards also screen for identifying information before it reaches the AI.

Questions about medication decisions, treatment management, and safety concerns need the people responsible for care in real time.

Your reflections are private from your supervisor and training program. Information you enter is not used to train AI models. Technical access is limited to what is needed to operate and maintain the software.

This platform operates under a signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with AWS. Session data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Your data is never used to train AI models. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.

Before you start

TherapySupervisor is an educational tool for clinical thinking. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic aid, and not a substitute for supervision, consultation, or your own clinical judgment. Nothing here constitutes clinical advice or direction for patient care.

Use it the way you would use a consultation group or a supervision prep journal: to think out loud, test formulations, notice what you are avoiding, and arrive at your next supervision meeting with sharper questions.

Three things before you type:

  1. De-identify your cases. Leave out identifying details — the same standard as a written case conference. First names and age ranges are fine ("Sarah, 30s"). The tool has a PHI detection layer, but your judgment is the first line of protection.
  2. Clinical decisions are yours. If something here shifts how you are thinking about a case, bring it to your supervisor before you act on it. The tool is upstream of clinical decision-making, not adjacent to it.
  3. In a crisis, this is the wrong tool. For emergencies — yours or a patient's — use your program's on-call system, 988, or 911.

Select a case above or create a new one to begin reflecting.
